NAB 2023JVC recently released several new CONNECTED CAM product updates. Included among these are its first-ever NDI-compatible broadcast cameras, the GY-HC500UN GY-HC550UN and GY-HC500SPCN, which feature optimized image processing and IP performance. The company will also highlight the new “Ball On” and “Play Clock” functions for its acclaimed Sports Coaching and Production Camera allowing broadcasters to display the yardage of the ball position directly on-screen and shows a countdown to the time when the play begins or resumes. NAB Show ExpressJVC has added the SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) open streaming IP protocol to its CONNECTED CAM series of broadcast cameras, including the GY-HC900, GY-HC500 and GY-HC550 camcorders, further enhancing the cameras’ already superior level of IP connectivity.
