LONDON, SEPTEMBER 24, 2026 — Custom Electronics, Inc. (CEI), a leading developer of custom battery solutions and electronic systems, will showcase its specialized technologies for drones and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) at DroneX London 2026. CEI will be among the New York-based companies represented at the New York State – Empire State Development Booth (Stand U722).
CEI will highlight its ability to develop custom battery modules of any shape and conform to any drone platform with requirements that cannot be met by standard, off-the-shelf products. Each solution is engineered around the aircraft’s available space, which includes the integration of conformal antenna arrays that meet a multitude of spectral requirements that address Size, Weight and Power (SWAP) — constraints that can be fully optimized for deployment on any platform.
CEI’s custom battery capabilities are designed to support a wide range of UAV platforms and applications, providing designers and manufacturers with low-SWAP solutions tailored to the specific requirements of their aircraft. The company’s solutions can be developed in a variety of configurations, such as conformal, form-fit, structural, bare and flexible platform designs.
The company will also showcase technologies that support advanced UAV architectures, including applications that involve fully autonomous and semi-autonomous swarms, intelligent sensors, secure communications and integrated power modules designed to increase platform run-time.
A featured platform is CEI’s VTOL Sail Wing, a long-range UAS platform designed for extended airtime through a maximized lift-to-drag ratio. The VTOL-capable fixed-wing aircraft serves as a modular test platform. It also incorporates a lifting-body-style design with a pusher motor, coaxial quad-rotor configuration for redundancy and a twin-boom box tail that provides increased stability and antenna attachment options. Additionally, the platform incorporates wind-velocity sensing for anti-stall functionality and stable speed settings, and it is compatible with Q Ground Control and Mission Planner.
CEI’s DroneX showcase exemplifies the company’s focus on developing low-SWAP platform solutions for communications, power and electronic solutions for the evolving requirements of unmanned systems. By combining custom engineering with low-SWAP platform configurations, CEI helps UAV developers address the demanding SWAP and endurance requirements of next-generation aircraft.
Visitors to DroneX London can meet with CEI representatives at the New York State – Empire State Development Booth (Stand U722) to learn more about the company’s custom battery and UAV capabilities.
